i'll take the lift please

Today marks several milestones of my tenure here at work, here are a few:

• Second time I've walked down 21 flights of stairs in heels in less than five months

• Third time I've heard of someone getting stuck in an elevator: one time the cable broke but luckily the breaks stuck (are you kidding me???), today our president was stuck :)

• Second time this week I've had to go up or down the stairs. On Monday I had to walk up from 12 to 21 since our elevator bank was broken due to the above mentioned cable/break debacle

• Third time I've forgotten to eat lunch until after 1pm

• First March Madness bracket completed (I'm going to WIN!)

Just thought I'd share some of the exciting happenings of my day. I'm still loving my new job and my legs are a little bit shaky still from our long walk down earlier this afternoon. Did I mention that they had ice cream bars for us while we were waiting outside? Did I also mention that the traffic on the highway by our building jammed up because everyone was staring and wondering why a couple thousand people were standing around outside of our towers?

America's Next Top Model tonight anyone?
